Scott S. Kelley, MD | Joint Replacement & Reconstructive Surgery

Scott S. Kelley, MDAs a third generation surgeon, with more than 15 years since completion of my fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, the practice of medicine has been a significant part of my life.

I specialize in total joint replacement surgery. My goal is to minimize the chance my patients will ever require more than one operation on their (hip or knee) joint. I have published data documenting the outcomes I am able to achieve for my patients.

While much of my research has focused on hip replacement, my published results for knee replacement are competitive with all previous reports (Fetzer GB, Callahan JJ, Templeton JE, Goetz DD, Sullivan PM, Kelley SS: PosteriorCruciate-Retaining Modular Total Knee Arthroplasty: A Nine to Twelve-year Follow-up Investigation. J Arthroplasty, 17(8):961-966, 2002).

I have an excellent team of health care providers: Jamey Messersmith (Physician Assistant), Alicia Stokes (Medical Assistant) and Priscilla Davis (Scheduling Secretary). You will find that our personal care will match our surgical results.

For more information regarding Hip and Knee Arthritis, please call Alicia at 919-403-5151 for our free Patient Education DVD.
